The Queen’s Rising – Rebecca Ross

To be honest I had no expectations when it came to this book. It was one of those books that I bought on a whim, without even checking the synopsis. Even before reading it, I just quickly read the synopsis to have some idea about what I’m getting into.

Now let me tell you, getting this book was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Continue reading “The Queen’s Rising – Rebecca Ross”

This didn’t live up to the hype. At all…
I can’t believe that this was one of my most anticipated reads this year. It turned out to be a huge disappointment. I liked the story in general, and it would’ve been a great re-telling.

What’s killing me is that the story had a lot of potential. In the beginning it was really dark, with some intriguing and new concepts. Illuminae – Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff

  • Genre: Sci-fi
  • Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5

“Am I not merciful?”

Can I give it more than 5 though? Because it sure as hell deserves more!
I don’t even know where to start or how to describe how epic this book is. This book is unique, one of a kind. Unlike anything else you’ve ever read.
I’ll try not to get into too much details, because if I do, I’ll probably say a lot of spoilers or/and I’ll end up ranting none-stop. Continue reading “Illuminae – Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff”
